MyRecycledBag also include the instructions for cutting and creating the plastic yarn – see here for the details!

If you are not one for crafting, Green Designs by Lisa has a fantastic store with an array of recycled bags and products. You can also send her an email for her patterns and details of the bags if you wish to recreate them with your surpluss plastic bags!

You can also make them into great coat hanger covers that are non-slip so that your tee shirts and strappy dresses will stay on. There are so many ways we can reuse these bags that seem to plague our kitchens and our oceans it is a shame not to try them all!

Top Tip – Wash and dry them thoroughly them first! No one wants to carry a tote that smells a little like day old fruit!
