The Home Beautiful Product of the Year award is well known for recognising and rewarding innovation that successfully
encompasses a strong design aesthetic and practical functionality. Earlier this month the awards were announced and this year it was won by an Aussie designer!
The shower’s unique design draws on the basic geometric shape and inspiration of the universal halo symbol. It increases the diameter of the droplet array by using tapered nozzles for complete coverage so the user is immersed in water while still being water efficient. The Halo has a 3-star WELS rating and uses only 7.5 litres per minute.
Overall it is a beautiful design and coupled with it are the benefits of reduced water usage! It does retail from reece.com.au for around $440 for the Straight Shower version, and yes it is a pricey option for most people but it is a locally made product if you are after something show stopping in your bathroom.
