Excellent point Max! Also when selecting rose petals for your confetti you can choose from a range of colours to suit your style as well!

As a green alternative to confetti you can use fresh rose petals, which have not been dies or processed in anyway - apart from being pulled from the rose heads themselves. These are available from our site and most are even grown outdoors in the open air - which is a pretty natural product with a low footprint.

In the outdoors the petals just break down and turn to mulch, saving on mess, rubbish and cleaning up afterwards! As an added bonus, there is minimal risk of them injuring anyone or allergy issues and there is no negative impact on wildlife or the environment.

PS: when you purchase try to make sure they come from a cut flower grower that uses natural growing techniques with little to no chemical inputs. Either source yourself or ask your florist about this.

Usedeventstuff.com is a platform where anyone having an event, party or wedding can buy or sell, reuse, donate or recycle any items leftover from their event. Industry clients can also post heavily discounted items - like discontinued products or overstock. Members can even plan the sale in advance of the event day, so other clients can pick up the used stuff the day of the party or shortly thereafter. Or, members can just announce that they will be leaving items curbside so that brides and others can pick them up and reuse them.

Thankyou! The one in the picture was a bit tatty when I scanned it as it has been in a drawer since 1970... but I think my brother who was then about 14 y.o. did a terrific job. The rest were all wedding pix and very sweet.

I think spending some of your honeymoon time doing some kind of volunteer activity - whether it is while you are away or when you get back is important. what a great experience starting a new life with someone and donating your time to help others. It would be a really great experience and memory!

Plus you will already be overflowing with your own personal happiness and that kind of things really rubs off on people and why not spread the good cheer around!!

I checked out your site Dana - deposit a gift is a gorgeous site and I love the idea!!! Being able to chip in for someone if they are wanting to update their home is a fantastic gift!

I love your idea of doing a volunteer vacation for your honeymoon. We actually recommend that as an option when you use our honeymoon registry service. Thanks for highlighting this option to your readers.

And what's more green than not receiving boxes and boxes of gifts in the mail, but rather just monetary gifts to put towards an experience where you enjoy and give back. Perfect way to start off a new life together. Cheers!
