The Green Cities Convention looks as though it will be terrific this year. This is an exhibition for developers, builders and interested people who are committed to the notion of cities changing their approach to planning to achieve a green standard. There will be some world famous speakers and you will certainly learn a lot about the 21st century city and how it can use less energy and be more sustainable.

Denmark’s Bjørn Lomborg and Canada’s Michael Green present two different, yet complementary views, informed by their respective roles as economist and architect.
With professional experience in 28 countries, Jeb Brugmann, Founding Partner of The Next Practice, has been a pioneer of new practice domains including urban sustainability and climate change mitigation, ‘base of the pyramid’ (BOP) business development for large low-income market segments, place-based development and social enterprise.
